Fernlea Business Support Limited was founded by Managing Director Andrew Speed in 2002. His career background was in turnkey project civil engineering and contract surveying. Andrew has been responsible for project management and control of one-off contracts and long-term services provision maintenance works.
Andrew offers clients 35 years’ experience in senior management roles with both public and private sector organisations. He provides specialist advice and support to medium and large companies and public authorities in these areas:
- Major contract planning, bid management and outsourcing
- All issues relating to HR management, TUPE and Health & Safety
- Environmental and other regulatory compliance matters
- Quality management strategy using the EFQM Business Excellence model
In his capacity as a Non-Executive Director over a ten-year period, Andrew has chaired operational and board meetings, mentored directors, spearheaded business development strategy, advised on succession and exit planning and taken responsibility for all aspects of corporate governance. He is a specialist adviser on mergers and acquisitions.
